Jennifer Hudson paid tribute to Whitney Houston at the American Music Awards, leaving fans overly emotional.
Hudson, who played in an NBA basketball game earlier this year, arrived at the event with Patricia Houston, Whitney’s former manager and sister-in-law.
Both women wore black outfits for the occasion.
Hudson’s dress featured a strapless latex design over a jeweled sheer top with matching gloves. The gown included a long train that followed her down the red carpet.
The singer put on a star-studded performance, paying tribute to the late Whitney Houston.
Taking to social media fans voiced their emotional sentiments about the singer’s performance.
One fan stated: “Unbelievable! Such an incredible, powerful, beautiful performance from Jennifer Hudson. She did such an outstanding and incredible job with a Whitney classic!”
